Hi, I will be traveling in December with a group of 7 , one of which is a 2 year old. We have been looking at Mae Nam beach on Koh Samui. Is there mid range accomodation there that would be ok for a baby? Any recomendations? or maybe another beach would be more suitable? We are not really after the party scene.
Is there any places where we could rent a house short term with 3 bedrooms without spending too much.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Tim
You'll come across travellers with rugrats all over Samui, and just about all beaches have something that is pretty baby friendly. On Mae Nam the followiong places jump to mind:
The last of the three is cheaper and not quite so smart. Coco Palm has a pool and a broad range of pricing options (from 900B up) so if some in your party want a cheapie, while others are willing to pay more, it could work.
If the above are all above your budget, then check out the eastern end of Mae Nam where there's a stack of cheapies, but probably not as suitable for little babies (no hot water in the room etc)
