I'm going to be flying into Thailand from the US, then visiting Cambodia before returning to Thailand. Will I need to get a yellow fever vaccination to re-enter Thailand?
Thanks

If you googled for your answer, you might have found it yourself along with a host of other important information.
TravelDoctor is a helpful website. If you follow their advice literally, you'll end up be so drugged up. But, that said, its a useful site to start. On Yellow Fever go to:
http://www.traveldoctor.info/diseases/8.html
You can see on their map where Yellow Fever exists.
Are you planning to be in those areas before going to Thailand?
On another page (TravelDoctor for Thailand) it states:
"...countries without yellow fever require a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate if you arrive (even in transit) from a country where yellow fever is present.
If you arrive from a country without yellow fever, there is no requirement for a yellow fever vaccination."
Hope that satisfies your concerns.
Cheers

You might need a swine flu vaccination certificate though.
What's the latest info about that in Thailand and Cambo? I got asked to produce a yellow fever vaccination certificate at the Ko Kong border (near Trat) once... tea money scam by Cambodian order officials.

No, you don't, and there's no such thing as a vaccine for H1N1 (swine flu virus.)

I know...I was thinking more of the tea money angle.

Ha! Ya, there is always that. The fact that one doesn't exist may not be enough to stop a border official from demanding proof of vaccination or else ...
Sorry ... that one went over my head. I'd just woken up (weak defense.)

Weird... if you ask me, the cure for yellow fever is to go to Asia!
