Hi gang.. I have a question that may not be seen much here on this site... I need the name of a decent Spa. It is for my mother and her fiance. They will be visiting me around the new year in Bangkok and I'd love to treat them.
I am looking for a nice place that offers all of those weird services like hot stones and all of that pseudo medical blagg. I'm not looking to send my poor mother to a 200b/hour shop where she may be molested........
I'd love to send them to the Spa at the Oriental, but it's not in my budget and i question the real value of that over something a bit more pedestrian.
So. A nice, upmarketish spa that is still an excellent value. Any ideas?
... a 200b/hour shop where she may be molested ........? Is that a joke?
Having said that, have a look at "King and I" Spa on Sukhumvit Soi 12. It's upscale, but not a budget buster. Plus, it is right near Cabbages & Condoms, so you can stop off for a fantastic meal either before or after the spa. Cheers.
