Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on the fastest/quickest way to get from Phnom Penh to Koh Chang please? Then from Koh Chang back to Bangkok? Travelling at the end of Sept/beginning of October.
Thanks heaps!!
Lisa :)

Hi Lisa,
Share taxi from Phnom Penh to Ko Kong, cross the border, minibus to Trat, songtheaw to Laem Ngop, boat to Ko Chang. Easily done in a day.
You can also take a bus to Sihanoukville then take a minibus from there to Ko Kong -- takes longer, but still doable in a day.
Don't forget Sept/Oct on Ko Chang will be very wet...

The quickest way is probably to fly from Phnom Penh to Bangkok and then go back down to Ko Chang (or fly from Bangkok to Trat and then take a bus/ferry to Ko Chang). To get to Ko Chang overland (and sea) in a day may be possible but it would be a very tiring way to travel and the roads down to Ko Kong in a shared taxi are pretty treacherous.

hey - thanks guys.
Yeah been told that time of year isnt the best weatherwise. Any suggestions on where else we can find some sun/beach time that is near-ish to Bangkok and reasonably easy to get to from P.Penh? Only have about 6 days between P.P and needing to get back to B.K for flight home.
Cheers!! :)
