Hello one and all
Me and my girlfriend are flying into Kuala Lumpur on the 15th November and after a few days in KL, maybe even just the one if it's raining big time, we'll be making our way into Thailand. We were thinking about stopping at one of the Southern Andaman Islands around this time (not sure which one yet...), and my question is: is it likely that we will encounter some rain here around this time? If so, then we'll probably skip the island and carry on heading up to Bangkok.
Cheers
Alex

You may get a little rain -- but I wouldn't skip the islands because of it. There's a round-up on some of the islands here: http://www.travelfish.org/feature/135

In the Andaman early November often sees the wet season tapering off - by mid November often dry season has kicked in.
Nov is my favourite time for doing the Andaman because there is normally heaps of sunshine and plenty of days without rain, others with a few showers or with the occasional ripper storm, but it is shoulder season with plenty of vacancies, fewer crowds yet most ferry transport normally open. I'll be there again this year.
