Phuket to Bangkok

    Is it easier/quicker to get a bus from Phuket to Bangkok, or a train from Phuket to Surat Thani then a train to Bangkok?

    howdy,

    the train doesn't go to phuket, so you'd either need to take a bus all the way to bangkok, or catch a bus to surat or trang and then take the train. either way, that's a long trip. a better option for you might be to fly from phuket to bangkok. check out budget carrier nok air's website at nokair.com. cheers.
