Hi,
Could someone PLEASE provide me with info on detox/cleansing spa type places in Samui (or surrounding islands) that are similar to the Health Oasis Resort? I am travelling during peak season (dec-jan) and they all seem to either be full or really over-priced. A budget "retreat" that includes accomodation would be ideal.
On a side note: Is anyone else having as much trouble as I am booking accomodation for dec '06-jan-'07?

I've done the fast at the Wellness Centre on Ko Pha Ngan four times now and would highy recommend it. From memory it is similary priced to Health Oasis. You can see our story on fasting on Ko Pha Ngan here.
Yes we're seeing a lot of bookings being knocked back because the places are full over high season -- looks like it is going to be a busy season! But remember in all the countries we cover, the vast majority of places do not take reservations online -- so just because you can't get a reservation doesn't mean the country is full!
