chiang mai jungle trek

    can anyone recommend a really good trek in the jungles available to book/leave from chiang mai?

    i would like something as authentic and non touristy as possibly.

    Not possible.

    Chiang Mai has seen decades of tourists, many of whom have been trekking through the now (largely) denuded landscape for years.

    Probably the closest you'll get is at Chiang Dao:
