Hi,
I'm trying to plan a trip to Thailand this year. We're looking for a good "paradise beach" type holiday. I was planning either Koh Pha-Ngan in September or Koh Chang around Nov/Dec.
However, due to work commitments, it now seems we can only go in October, which appears to be the rainy season pretty much everywhere!! Can anybody please give me reccomendations for October, or let me know whether it would simply be too wet.
Yes October isn't one of Thailand's best months for a beach holiday! Bear in mind rainy season doesn't generally mean all day torrential rain, but rather occasional bursts of heavy rain, often followed by sunshine. If I had to suggest an island in October I'd venture Ko Samet -- it gets very little rain year-round.
