Clothes & embroidery in Bangkok??

    I will be in Thailand in January and have heard that custom clothes are very reasonably priced. Any advice please. Also, I am interested in getting a daily wear ( not a suit ) jacket made with embroidery and/or patches. I have heard that it may be better to buy one in the USA and get it embroidered in Thailand due to the possibility of low quality jacket material. How do I go about having embroidered patches made in BKK. Thanks
