Koh Samui in late Sep - last min recommendations needed!

    Hi all,

    Will be in Samui end this mth. Have made bookings with The Island Resort & Spa, any feedback on this resort?

    Planning to go Phangan for a couple of days, deciding between Had Salat, Had Yao and Ao Mae Haad. Would like a good swimming beach and good snorkelling. Any recommendations?
    Also looking for recommendation on accommodation with a/c between 800 to 1200 bht on Phangan.

    Really looking forward to the trip, will greatly appreciate any other advice or recommendation

    Hi Ping,

    Of the beaches you list, I'd say Haad Salad is the best -- there's a full range of spots o stay there, from a couple of hundred baht a night to a few thousand. See the Ko Pha Ngan section of the site for detailed listings and recommendations.
