Hi,
Anyone there got a recommendation for the best way to get from Koh Lanta back to Krabi for flight back to BKK ? Our plans are BKK 2 nights, then 1 night in Ao Nang to get our bearings, 5 nights on Phi Phi then 3 nights on Koh Lanta. It looks like you can get a boat fron Phi Phi to Koh Lanta (is this correct?) but then we need to know the best way back to Krabi Airport.. boat or land?
Can anyone help please?

Hey, my first time in Thailand is this Dec so I am not sure. However having said that I do know that most people have told me the weather is better that side than if you were in Samui, PhaNgan etc!! So based on my 'expert opinion' I think you will be fine ;-)

You can get a ferry back to Krabi. If you look at a website like Andaman Island Hopping the timetables should be there.

Hi EmjayReet,
Thanks very much for your help - will check ferries out. Do you know if the weather will be okay in early November (in Phi Phi/Koh Lanta)?
All the best,
salbruce. :-)

Hi salbruce,
Welcome to Travelfish!
In high season there are two boats a day from Ko Lanta to Krabi -- one at 08:00 and the other at 13:00. The trip takes around 3 hours.
Early november you may get a little rain, but the weather should be mostly fine.
