Hello,
Does anyone have any ideas or websites where I can get information on buses and ferries costs and timetables?
My girlfriend and I are island hopping from Koh Tao to Samui to then travel over to Phuket, we are trying to work out a budget for this trip. I know you need to travel from Samui to Don Sak/Surat Thani but can't find information from there.

Yeah thats good info on getting to the islands and around but not from the islands to Phuket (without traveling directly via air). Anyone know more detail about traveling from Don Sak/Surat Thani to Phuket?

Generally the trip is covered here: http://www.travelfish.org/feature/57
Detailed fares, timetable info etc should be in the transport sections for each island for eg Ko Tao
Hope that helps

Try the arriving and departing section in the Surat Thani section -- info is there.

There are regular air-con buses from Surat Thani to Phuket. They're big blue & white things and depart almost hourly.
The train is a no-go, unless you want to take a really indirect route.
