    hi can anyone let me know if going to thailand in apri- may is advisable or will it be the start of the monsoon ???

    start by looking at the Thailand: Weather page and be sure to click on the animated Thai weather map as well. You'll find it at:

    generally speaking, april and may are more the hot & dry season and the monsoon doesn't really get rolling until a few months later. cheers.
