Khao Sok solo on a budget

Khao Sok looks amazing and I would definitely love to visit while I'm in the area. Only problem it seems to be aimed more towards families and tourists with prices to match. It would be way out of my budget to go with say Limestone Lake tours.

Is there any way to do this on the cheap? I don't mind roughing it, walking a lot or anything like that.

Yes it is fine just to show up -- there is stacks of budget accommodation and most can arrange a variety of more reasonably priced tours.

    Damo -

Sounds like we have a similar dilemma - when you going? Maybe we could just try and figure it out together

    Hi Andre,

I'm not sure exactly when as it depends on how the weather affects my other plans in the area, but it will be somtime between 15-25 december. What about yourself?
