we are about ot fly ot bangkok ot stay at Ko san road for one day - is anyone there now? is everything shut? will our hotel be open? is it safe? are taxis running from airport ok???

I am stuck in Bangkok right now and I can assure you that everything on Khao San Road is open for business. The restaurants and bars sent everyone home early last night and there is supposed to be a curfew in effect tonight but all of the accomodations seem to be open. Traffic is still moving in the city and the airport is open.
