has anybody stayed at or have any info on "the secret garden resort" on big buddah beach. we have booked a beachfront bungalow for 7 nights over christmas.
any info or news????

Hi hamster,
Yup, I've stayed there a couple of times -- it's a very good spot -- excellent hosts. When I was last on Samui (a couple of months ago) they were in the process of renovating, so you shouldn't have too many concerns. The beach is fine -- not one of Samui's best, but still great for long walks and a bit of a swim.
Secret Garden also hosts a Sunday BBQ/live music afternoon -- it can be very good and is a popular day-out amongst the longer-term "Samuites"

john the owner sent me some photos of the newly done rooms and they looked nice. he has been really helpful as when we first tried to book there he was full but tried to help us find other places. luckily he called us back and held the beachfront bungalow.
cant wait to get there now
