Tiger Temple sue conservationists.

    KANCHANABURI, Thailand, February 3, 2010 (ENS) - Three advocates for wildlife conservation and welfare appeared in a Kanchanaburi court this morning to answer charges of defamation brought by the Tiger Temple, a tourist attraction in Kanchanaburi.

    This is probably a bad move by the Tiger Temple owners. It provides a platform and additional media coverage on the issue - something they should really try and avoid given their vulnerabilities. A win in court won't help them much and the Tiger Temple opponents will simply figure out ways to limit their legal liabilities while maintaining the pressure.
