I was wondering if anyone has been to these centres & what your impressions were. Also if anyone has practiced meditation elsewhere within SEA I would love to hear your feedback!

That was really good of completing Vipassana course. And sorry I was not having any of such centers. You would better go for Google search to find them.
There are quite a few previous threads answering the question of where to do meditation (including vipassana) retreats in Thailand. Here's one example, but a search of the site will bring up many more:
I've never done the Goenka retreats in Thailand, one old friend who did said it was good, and similar to other Goenka centres in other parts of the world.

Hello all!
I completed a Vipassana course about two years ago in Italy and within the next year I would love to do one in Thailand.
According to http://www.dhamma.org/en/bycountry/ap/th.shtml there are four Goenka centres in Thailand: in Kanchanaburi, Khon Kaen, Phitsanulok & Prachinbury.
I was wondering if anyone has been to these centres & what your impressions were. Also if anyone has practiced meditation elsewhere within SEA I would love to hear your feedback!
Thank you :)

Hi,
There are quite a few previous threads answering the question of where to do meditation (including vipassana) retreats in Thailand. Here's one example, but a search of the site will bring up many more:
