Hi,
I'm in the process of planning a flying visit to south east asia and was looking for some advice about what's a must see!
I had planned on spending around 10-12 days in thiland and the remainder in laos and cambodia,
looking to just go tubing in laos really and spend max 3 days there!
Any information about what's a must do in these area's would be really helpful. Also looking to travel on a budget and gather that wont be to hard in this region but to avoid flights would be good.

Hello,
If you cannot afford to fly some legs it is not possible to do the 3 countries in 3 weeks. If you only want to do some tubing in Laos than I am guessing that you want to go to Vang Vieng . If you don't want to fly to Laos it would take you at least 2-3 travel days coming from Thailand. And if you're going to cambodia without flying there another 3-4 travel days are spend.
A flight to Vietiane and one from Vientiane to Phnom Penh or Siem Reap could give you some more time.
My advise would be to choose between Laos and Cambodja and make it a 2-country trip.
Bangkok - Chang Mai - (pai - Mae hong son - CM -) Chang rai - Boot trip to Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng - Vientiane - Bangkok would be my choice.
