What is the best way to get from the new airport to Khao San Rd? Is public bus a good idea? If so, what bus would we take? Any suggestions?
We arrive on Tues afternoon.

There's an airport bus straight from the new airport to KSR. Not sure how much it is though.

Take the AE2 to KSR - costs 150 baht (5am - midnight). There's a free shuttle bus from the arrivals hall to the transport centre.

Hey
We got here last night and took a public taxi, on the lower floor of the airport. It only cost us 235 baht straight to our hotel on Khao San.
