Traveling to both next month, want to be able to use my ipod. Anyone know what type of plug I will need to purchase? An entire kit costs 39.00 from Apple.

If you can wait till you get to Thailand, you can pick up an adaptor for about $5 that accepts a variety of plugs (I'm yet to find one that doesn't fit) and works in both Thailand and Cambodia.I got mine in the electrical section in Emporium Shopping Centre (SUkhumvit Soi 24) but you'll find them in most large dept stores.

Hi marian,
You could try Kad Suan Kaew, a large department store in the northwest corner of Chiang Mai -- from memory its got an electrical and IT section so they should have plugs. Otherwise just ask around, I think there's also a Makro and Carre four there (both mega-malls) and they should have the plugs also -- they're pretty common.
