Located toward the quieter, eastern end of the 'Fisherman's Village', but still only 130m from the central pier, Baan Bophut is a small, Thai/British family run hotel on Bophut Beach, between Mae Nam and Bang Rak/Big Buddah on Ko Samui's northern coast. Boasting picture postcard views of Koh Pha Ngan 12km distant across Bophut Bay, the hotel has only 10 sea facing rooms with two more, identically furnished, facing the road.
Depending on the season:
Sea Facing rooms range from Baht 2500 (low season) to 3500 (peak), with the Road Facing rooms around Baht 500 less.
Each room offers AC, mini-bar, safe, CD/DVD & tea/coffee making facilities. Sea Facing Rooms additionally benefit from large verandahs. Ground floor rooms have direct access to the lawn and beach. Beds and linen are highly praised by guests for their comfort. A small infinity edge pool is located within hailing distance of the bar and restaurant.
