There was a spot by our house in portland oregon we always went to for quick, cheap, reliable food - good neighbor pizza.
We found our good neighbor pizza of the east - a place called Ladda Restaurant on Koh Phangan's west coast, near Wok Tum/Sri Thanu. If you are traveling north from Thong Sala, you will see it on your left as you turn a corner by a few convenience stores (one owned by the Ladda people).
We love going here - especially for the Tom Yum soup (60 Baht) & coconut shakes (30 baht). The restaurant/convenience store is run by a husband and wife & their dad cooks the delicious food.
Check them out if you are on the island - though they may from appearances look like all the other restaurants- it really is a nice spot w. friendly service & GREAT prices. They have western breakfast as well.
