Recently opened Monkey Island Guesthouse and Restaurant offers all travellers: Backpacker rooms starting from 100 Baht to a family room at 400 Baht, Western/Thai food, Free Wi-Fi Internet, Laptop Hire, Book Exchange, Bike Hire, Daily Bangkok Post Delivery, Reference Books on travel in Asia, Free local Monkey Island produced map of the area, Office Services (Fax Etc.), Taxi Services, Half or One day Tours to Doi Tung, Golden Triangle, Lakes & Caves, Mae Salong, Chiang Khong or, Burma (Kengtung/Monglar) 3 Days 2 Nights. We can also arrange visas and boat trips to Laos.
Monkey Island is situated approximately 300m to the left of the Maesai/Tachileik bridge in Maesai and our terrace looks over the Maesai River and the mountains beyond in Burma.
