bangsaray is south of pattaya and one and a half hours from the airport .It is a sleepy fishing village but has bars and restaurants .the lizard lounge is a bar restaurant half way down the high street with some great clean rooms and super food a good place to unwind after the flight and spend a few daysbefore heading to samet or koh chang.there is some great seafood here as it comes in fresh daily on to the pier.and some wonderful beaches.we paid 1000 baht per night for our apartment and were well happy with what we got.bangsaray is definatley worth a few days we visited a temple museum here that has statues from the terracotta army amazing and they are housed here permenant.we visited the vineyards at silver lake and the big buddah some wonderful things to see and all very close to bangsaray .
