this vilage just outside pattaya is never mentioned in the travel books.It is a lovley fishing village with bars,restaurants and hotels the beach is 3km of sand fringed by palm trees with fantastic sunsets and pattaya is 30 minutes but a world away.we stayed at siamcourt a lovley resort and wandered the town at night.there are a few bars the hideaway hidden up a back street who specialize in curry,the nags head for pool the lizard lounge for great food and live music our favorite bar by far,and the local serving english food.the village has 3 good seafood restaurants and the silverlakes vineyard and chinese temple featuring the original terracotta army nearby plus numerous islands and navy beaches to visit.this is a great area that needs to be mentioned.the village has 3 markets a week and a daily fresh fish and food market.we started and finished our tour of thailand here as its onloy 90 minutes to the airport and suited us to avoid pattaya.so folks look up bangsaray you wont be dissapointed its a grat village .
