Perched atop Koh Mak's highest hill with spectacular ocean views, Thaidaho Vista Resort is Koh Mak's only true non-smoking guesthouse. New owners/managers as of 2012!
Located at Vista Lookout Point, the guesthouse has just five rooms ranging from 1000 to 1500 baht per night. All rooms have a king bed, fan & A/C, en-suite bath with western toilet and hot water shower, and high speed WiFi. Two of the rooms can be configured with two beds each to accommodate single travelers or families. All rooms share use of our guest kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, etc. There is also a landscaped ocean view courtyard with many sitting areas, hammocks, lawn chairs, etc.
The Vista Cafe/Coffee Shop serves real Thai "through the gate" coffee purchased directly from the farmers in North Thailand, roasted in Pattaya, and then served professionally and personally by Kat. In addition to Kat's Coffee and baked goods, the cafe also serves up eclectic and interesting western breakfasts and light lunches. Drink prices range from 10 to 75 baht, and food prices from 35 to 120 baht.
Vista is a 5-minute walk to the islands two largest beaches and 10+ restaurants & pubs. Open November through April (closed May through October); email for this year's guestbook reviews or look on Trip Adviser. This holiday, take a break and enjoy the Vista!
