Check out The Hangout Cafe in Lampang. Located in a lane ('soi') off the main road to the clock tower. It is quite tricky to find as it's not well sign posted but you can find it listed in Google maps. It is a beautifully decorated cafe with an air-conditioned inside area and a pretty garden veranda in front. Good for families as the owners are really friendly. Serves delicious Thai and European food - English breakfast, spaghetti, curries, burgers, fresh fruit smoothies, coffee and beer etc. The burgers are popular for tourists craving western food, but the Thai menu is also very good. If busy it can sometimes take a while to get your order as there is only one cook but it's a nice place to hang-out and relax and when the food comes you won't be disappointed.

10 am to 6pm Sunday
