We are planning on going to one of the islands in thailand with our 2 year old daughter for 3 months (Jan - March). Rather than travelling around a lot we would like to base ourselves in one place and then do short trips from there.
Ideally we would like to rent a bungalow or something similar which has a basic kitchen, but not sure if that option exists unless we pay a really high holiday rental charge which is more aimed at 2 week holiday makers.
Does anyone have experience of rental accomodation for 2/3 months and how much it would cost.
We are thinking of going to Ko Lanta, but would really appreciate suggestions of the best relaxed and quiet beach destinations that are suitable for families.
Many thanks
