Baan Rao - which means "Our Home" - is a family run Bed and Breakfast which combines a Home Stay Experience with an eco friendly attitude.

We are a multicultural couple : Aruna is half Swedish half Indian and born and brought up in France and Chai is Thai from Nakhon Si Thammarat. The boys of the family are called Shaan (born 2010) and Jeevan (born 2012) and they enjoy playing with other kids and meeting new people, like their parents. We speak English, Thai, Swedish, French and Spanish.

We have four rooms which are cooled by fans and the breeze of the jungle. Each rooms has its attached toilet and shower. Only one room has hot water but there is a common bathroom which has hot water for those who want it. Guests have the option of living in a Thai style wooden house or a more modern villa. All rooms have a nice sea view. Baan Rao is located up a hill on Koh Lanta, not far from the Lanta Animal Welfare on Pra Ae.
