Yang Tone Farmstay is located off the road that leads from town to The Nest and Maleeās, 3 km from the Chiang Dao caves. It is a large fruit farm with mandarin, papaya, starfruit, rambutan and mango orchards and is therefore a very tranquil and spacious place to stay. The view of Doi Chiang Dao from the garden (complete with campfire) is superb. Suvit and Sribut, the longtime owners of the farm, go out of their way to make you feel at home by offering a personalized service which often includes freshly picked fruit delivered to your bungalow free of charge. Bungalows (all with fan and private bath) range from 490 to 700 B. There is also a brand new log cabin tucked away down by a stream which sleeps 4 to 6 and a larger house at the other end of the farm which can accommodate up to 10. Rafting, birding and other trips can all be arranged.
