Dear Sir,
It seems that You just visited Ban Phe (Rayong).
May I ask why You did not visit Tawan-Inn? This is a guesthouse with 8 rooms and an great kitchen (no greasy food) owned by a Thai chef. Both Thai and Western food is served and it defenately is another good option to stay apart from those mentioned on Your reviews already.
Tawan-Inn is lokated 100m. east of the busstation in Soi Tawan.
