The Marisa Resort is about 10 km north of Chiang Dao and offers traditional thai style lodging (with modern amenities!) in a very relaxing and luscious nature setting. The Resort also offers a spa and, if you like authentic thai food, quite a tasty selection. The staff is incredibly friendly and all that for a very reasonable price.
