The section on Chiang Dao - Northern Thailand is quite detailed but fails to mention another great place to stay in the area. The Marisa Resort is about 10 km north of Chiang Dao and offers traditional thai style lodging (with modern amenities!) in a very relaxing and luscious nature setting. The Resort also offers a spa and, if you like authentic thai food, quite a tasty selection. The staff is incredibly friendly and all that for a very reasonable price.
