Great Guest House Mae Salong...Little Home

  • jmartin

This guesthouse (Little Home Guesthouse and Bungalow)is really clean, comfortable and affordable. The bungalows are located right next door to the Shin Sane guest house and is newer. We stayed two nights... and the owner, and his family, were great! They were very pleased to help in any way and booked us our onward travel with no hassle or commission. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to be comfortable during their stay in Mae Salong.
The food was inexpensive and tasted great. They wre always smiling (not in a needed to sort of way) and appreciated our business (although they were also busy with a couple film crews staying there as well).
    Check it out!

We took this advice and stayed here too last week, it was really lovely, the owner and his family could not have been nicer or friendlier! The rooms were comfortable and clean and very reasonable. we would definatly recomend Little Home Guest House! It was a shame we couldn't have stayed longer!

    Hi,

Sorry for such a late reply, we have been really busy in the last few months. If you haven't made it to Northern Thailand yet the prices we paid were 400bht a night. If you have made it there hope you enjoyed it. Good luck with the rest of your trip!

We were just in Mae Salong and wanted to give a nice review to Little Home Guest House, but found there isn't an official Travelfish review for them! That is definitely too bad, because we thought the place was really nice. We did not stay there, but did spend time in the restaurant downstairs and if we hadn't already booked into Shin Sane next door, we would've been happy to stay. The family running the guest house is so so nice! Everyone seemed to be helping out, and their life just went on there. So the grandfather had the baby in his arms when he took an order, the other child was sitting with her mother at a table close to ours chatting, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We asked for some help with our route for the next few days and they were really genuinely happy to help. And we liked the food, too! Plus very nice tea plus unlimited refills for free.
We didn't see the rooms but the photos look very nice, they have a website, just google them, it pops up right away.
