Now owned by Mark (aussie) and Aom (thai). Ban Phe 17kms from Rayong is the jump point for Koh Samet Island. Quite often in high season Koh Samet books out but u can still do day trips to the island on the many ferries they have running from Ban Phe. So if you need good good priced accomodation aircon or fan, very clean rooms and a location that has a great bar and grill for western food like burgers or steaks or simpler thai dishes then this place is worth checking out. Currently they have 2 aircon rooms and 4 fan rooms but are nearly finished completing an additional 4 aircon rooms 3 with ground floor ocean views. Bedrock is about 150 metres from the tourist police station and 200 metres from the new government pier for the ferries. Bedrock also rents good motor bikes.

Mark and Aom are very helpful and this place is worth a visit even for just food or a drink and chat.
