This thread is to allow users to add guesthouses, hotels, restaurants and bars and so on which are not currently listed within the Thailand section of Travelfish.

When one of our researchers visits one of these places and decides to add that place to Travelifsh, the listing here will be removed.

There are five easy-to-follow rules:

1) If a place has already been added to the messageboard, please do not add it again. Likewise if you're already listed on Travelish, don't add it again here. Duplicate listings will be removed. Add your place to a new thread -- don't add it to this thread or that of another guesthouse.
2) While business owners are encouraged to use this feature of the site, please try to remain calm when writing up your place -- we reserve the right to edit any submissions and all hyperbole will be removed.
3) Please add as much information as you want, including your website and email contacts, but you cannot add images nor HTML, so don't waste your time trying to figure out how to.
4) If you want to add your prices, please do so, but please list the price inclusive of any taxes etc.
5) Please be honest!

Below are two listing examples -- ones like the first one will likely be far better received (both by Travelfish readers and the site moderator) than the second.

A good example:
Some Guy's Guesthouse
Address: 12 Rathadamnoen Rd, Nakhon Nowhere, Thailand
Tel (02) 123 4567
Fax (02) 987 6543
email: emailaddresshere
website: http://www.yourwebsitehere.com
Description: Some Guy's Guesthouse is a new wooden guesthouse in Nakhon Nowhere in northern Thailand. We have 16 rooms ranging from simple fan-cooled rooms with share bathroom, through to air-con rooms with hot water showers and cable TV. The guesthouse has a small garden area with a travel agent and a common area suitable for hanging out. We are about a five minute walk from the bus station. The owners are both Thai and have lived in Nakhon Nowhere all their life -- we know the area very well and can arrange tours, including cooking classes.
Room rates
Single share bathroom with fan 100B
Double share bathroom with fan 150B
Single private bathroom with fan 200B
Double priavte bathroom with fan 250B
Single private bathroom with air-con 350B
Double priavte bathroom with air-con 400B

A bad example:
Some Guy's Guesthouse
Address: 12 Rathadamnoen Rd, Nakhon Nowhere, Thailand
Tel (02) 123 4567
Fax (02) 987 6543
email: emailaddresshere
website: http://www.yourwebsitehere.com
Description: Some Guy's Guesthouse is the best guesthouse in all of Thailand!!! Our rooms are super clean and the cheapest anywhere!!! All our rooms have what you want -- REALLY! We have something for every budget -- from richest to the poorest. We are super central, next to everything. Nowhere in Nakhon Nowhere is as good as our place. Our travel agent is the best and our prices the lowest. Come check us out - we are the besttttttttt! Love you! See you all soon!!!

Users who repeatedly ignore the rules or spam the board, will be black-banned and their listings will not be considered for addition into Travelfish.

The initial listings are from listings that have been submitted via the old system -- just because they're been added by me doesn't mean I've ever seen them.

Thanks!
