Hi,
I've just started planning my third trip to SE Asia, and so far it seems that the Philippines will be my main destination. I'm not much of a planner, relying on waypoints rather than a detailed route, but I do like to at least study a proper guidebook for tips and ideas. Even more so with the Philippines since Travelfish doesn't have a lot of accomodation reviews as of yet.
The problem is that I haven't found a book that seems to meet my needs yet. I flipped through the Lonely Planet editions, but they seem to be rubbish. I've heard good things about the 2009 edition from Jens Peters publications, but haven't found it in any bookstore where I live. Does anyone have a good tip on this issue ?
