I am planning a trip to SEA in the beginning of October for about 4 weeks, my friend and I do not yet have any concrete plans as to where and what to do. WE were just tolde to have a very rough outline.

Extremely rough, like not even sure where I am going to fly into yet, mainly becuase my friend has to take a different route from Houston, TX to meet me because he gets hooked up with flights through continental.
We just started looking things up. I was told not to really plan things, so we decided to give ourselves only a couple weeks to do so, that way we could not organize it too well

wow! good luck! mine is 13 months to go....
this is my rough outline:
i'm from the philippines by the way so here goes
manila to bangkok
4 days in thailand (mostly in bangkok and nearby surrounds)
11 days in CAMBODIA
- 3 days in phnom penh, 5 days in siem reap, 3 days in sihanoukville
+ although sihanoukville maybe change to staying in a tribe or something
++ will try to figure out how to go overland from thailand to cambodia
15 days in VIETNAM with the following places in mind:
HCMC, Mekong delta, nha trang, hoi an, hue, hanoi, halong bay
I think its a bit much but its on a research stage...hehe
TRY TO VISIT my COUNTRY - PHILIPPINES...

sounds good, i think i will be traveling south east asia roughly the same time, will be doing thailand, cambodia, vietnam, laos and then going on to Indonesia, im working to save money at the moment, cant wait to finally go!! : )

Dude, currently residing in Dubai. Would want to take my annual leave to some SEA countries. Considering sites like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, etc. Still no idea on its routes, etc

oh i see, well my travel itinerary have change...BUDGET is also a major consideration...will be mostly staying at hostels....will have companions from hcmc to bkk depending on schedule...some of them i knew thru travelfish
you have less than 3 months to plan, air tickets would be tricky if you wanna buy the cheap ones...hehe

as these are SEA countries, no need for VISA....ive travelled to singapore,malaysia and thailand before so no visa needed....since cambodia and vietnam are also SEA countries, no need to get one if you are a FILIPINO citizen.

To my fellow Filipinos,
Here is a map of countries and visa requirements. The map needs updating as Filipino citizens can now get Visa on arrival at India.

ASEAN countries have an agreement for visa exemption so we should have no problems going to any ASEAN member country.

Im arriving in Bangkok on August 24th and heading straight to Cambodia for around a week and a half, then for the rest of September I'll be in Vietnam and Laos. Then I'm flying to Malaysia and Bali during October.
