Hello fellow travellers,
I'm a 31 year old Aussie guy visiting SE Asia in mid November. I'm heading over to Bali at the start of November for a mate's wedding then straight to Phnom Penh, probably on the 12th November.
I'll be kickstarting things in Cambodia where I will probably spend a few weeks, before heading north into Laos for about the same amount of time. After Laos I will head over to Hanoi and make my way south to Saigon.
Aside from the date I'll arrive in PP, and the rough route I'm taking, everything else will be decided once there.
I have visited Thailand and Laos previously with friends, and travelled extensively by myself through Europe, but figure it would be a good idea to see if there is anyone out there planning a similar trip who would like to catch up?
Happy travels!
Steve

Hi Carlaj,
For Xmas I think I will end up in Hanoi. Can never be too sure though. It doesn't really bother me that much where I spend it, so long as I can have a cold beer in hand and celebrate with some good company!
Where are you heading after Thailand - Laos or Cambodia?

Hey, i agree that if you miss something you can always come back. After all you don't want to be rushing whilst on holidays!
I was only in Laos for 5 nights last year which is why i'm heading back. I want to see some of the south and spend a bit more time in Luang Prabang. As I with mates last year our MO was to get to Vang Vieng and have a fun time tubing and drinking which, by the way, was awesome! It's very touristy, full of young drunks but, to me, it is what it is!
I hope that helps.
