Heyo,
Me and a friend decided to head around SE Asia together once we both finish uni to see a little bit of the world before we lock ourselves into jobs. We are from New Zealand and are just about to finish our degrees. Travelling from late December until the middle of Feb we are looking to get around Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos.
We are both pretty new to the travel thing so just wondering if anyone travelling around SE Asia those dates is keen to meet up, share stories, have a beer etc with a couple of kiwis... Also whether anyone has any advice on "must dos" while over there outside of what the Lonely Planet says.
Cheers,
Michael.

Hey there
I'm in the same situation, graduate in 3 weeks and heading straight to Bangkok. Northern Thailand first up, then Cambodia and Vietnam until the end of January.
Cheers
Sophie

Must dos is absolutely dependent on who you are and what your preferences are.
Ask a sex tourist and he'll tell you Pattaya is a must do.
Ask a beach bum, maybe he'll say one of the islands or china beach.
Ask someone interested in old architecture and maybe they'll tell you Angkor Wat.
So must do's are impossible to say without more info.
To start with, why Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam? What made you pick these places?
