Hi,
I'm finishing up a year of teaching in S. Korea, and will be doing a couple months of traveling after. Since I haven't done this before (like most people here) it'd be nice to have some travel buddies. Plus, I think it'd be more fun.
I don't have a set plan now, but I'm starting out in China, and then I'd like to try to see Burma, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines (in no particular order).
I want to do some hiking on this trip. I'd be game for a couple 2-3 day trips somewhere. I have experience hiking, but I don't have much experience camping. It can't be too hard right? :p
I want to see Angkor Wat, but otherwise don't have much interest in really touristy places.
So, let me know if you'll be in any of these countries during that time. If so we could chat to see when and if it'd work to meet up.

Hi Erin,
I am leaving on Saturday and heading to Indonesia (Java/Bali) for the months of July/Aug and will be heading north through Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos after that. My itinerary is pretty flexible. The only thing set in stone at the moment is 24 July-24Aug in Indonesia and then flying into Malaysia...after that I'm open to most things. I don't have a face book but you can hit me up via email at Michael.McPhee11@gmail.com if you're interested in joining forces on this adventure at some point.
Little bit about me...24, M, USA, Nurse, Veteran, Flexible, budgeting, the main thing I would like to do is a nice 7-10 day meditation retreat at some point, other than that I'm up for anything.
I've camped pretty extensively in the military and have done lots of hiking (hoping to do a lot more).

I am currently in china, and will be heading thailand for a week in october ....more precisely 1st till 6th october...lemme know if you are interested . i plan to take deep see diving course there...it will be fun. Since i am also a solo traveler i'd like to have buddies
