Hey there,
I am currently planning my backpacking trip to the Indochina areas of Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam for January 2012 (& possibly Malaysia & Indonesia depending on time & money left over). I am looking for anyone who is interested in lots of temple & sightseeing activities & keeping it really on the low-end budget wise.
Looking for like-minded travelers who aren't afraid of getting dirty and keeping busy!

Hi there,
I'm a 28 year old female from Canada heading to Thailand Jan 10th 2012, planning to travel to Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Java/Bali until mid-May, my return flight is from Singapore... I like sightseeing, outdoorsy stuff and relaxing beaches so it could be fun meeting up at some point...

After ditching my arranged tour of south east asia I have decided to go it alone. (aaargh) I havent booked flights yet but am planning on arriving in Bangkok in January 2012. My plan is to do Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos then onto Australia around April/May

Its a bit daunting and I have no idea where to begin with planning!

Im 26 and live between Oxford and Croydon at the mo. Would be lovely to maybe meet up before with the view to meet up out there; Im sure a friendly face would be something nice to look forward to!

I plan to arrive in BK the first week of Jan. Laos and the Cambodia Islands after that...
Returning home the end of March... yet another travelling Canadian. Would be great to hook up with you guys somewhere along the way...

I'm a 26 y/o female coming from San Francisco and traveling solo for most of my time in Thailand & Cambodia (Dec 29th-Jan18th). I would love to meet up with some folks who appreciate lower-end budget traveling and getting a bit dirty on adventures. Hi, I am in a similar situation. I'm also 23/ female/ British. I'm visiting all of the same place but a bit earlier. I'm looking for travel buddies from mid-October to early December. I'm starting in Hanoi -> Laos -> Chiang Mai -> Bangkok -> Ho Chi Minh city -> back to Bangkok via Cambodia.

Hi everyone - you all sound like you have similar travel plans as me! 27/F from London, travelling alone (eeeek!). Not travelled like this before and its a little daunting. I arrive in Hanoi on 30th Jan 2012 and will be heading to Cambodia and Laos and then Malaysia for my last 2 weeks to sit on the beach! I am out there until 1st May. Hey guys,

I'm travelling to Thailand for the first time Jan 15-29/30th. Looking to checkout Bangkok, Chiang Mai, beach(es) in the South, and maybe Angkor Wat/Siem Reap for a couple of nights. It would be nice to meetup w/ fellow travelers to do some sightseeing, some outdoorsy stuff, and of course to relax on the beach w/ a bit of water sports thrown in. Pretty casual planning.

Hi All,

I'm landing in Koh Samui on Dec 5th.
And I don't fly out until after the Songkran Festival in April.

I'm keen to visit Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and if I have time, China.

I don't have any set plans as of yet, but I'm the sort of person who doesn't waste a second of my holidays.

So if anyone is keen to see plenty of temples, caves, mountains and taste as much exotic food as possible, feel free to reply.

Hi everyone,
I am F/22 planning on traveling to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indo from San Francisco in January for about 6 months. My plans are somewhat flexible because I am buying one way tickets, but I want to travel cheep, have fun, do some volunteer work and possibly some trekking and surfing, pretty much any type of outdoor adventure. I am very easy going and seem to get along with most people. I would love to meet up with others as it is my first time traveling to Asia and alone.
