16/01 udon thani .. phu kradung park then on to laos

    hi.. i am arriving in udon thani mid jan ... plannin to do some walkin in national park then visit laos for a couple of weeks .. i am an easy going sporty bloke in mid 40's.. if you fancy joining up for part of travels drop me a line.. N

    Udon is a good place to hang out for couple days, good foodtown, large night market near train station. Bookhouse and Coffee for very nice relaxed pig out, western food,overlooking nong sim park / lake. Also maincity park / nong Prajack, very festive in early evening and onward, with plentyof food vendors.

    Not the best time to hike around national parks, dry seasonand not very lush.
    Live in udon, so if need any help just ask.
