I am looking to travel around Vietnam by motorbike and possibly around Lao Thailand and Cambodia. I am hoping to do this around April/May 2010.
If anyone is planning a trip or is interested in joining me then please let me know, I have no concrete plans at the moment so am fairly open to suggestions.

Hey Matt,
Myself and a buddy of mine are planning on motorbiking a large portion of Vietnam. We land in Thailand on Feb 2nd, enter Cambodia around the 2nd week of Feb and spend 1+ month there - Vietnam follows. So we'll probably be arriving late March/early April in HCMC.
You plan on buying a moto and trading it in at your final destination? I think one can be purchased for $100-150, plus some suggested repairs/mechanic costs. Should be epic though. You have facebook? Where ya from?

Hey fellas. the details of my trip (as they exist) are listed below. I will be doing some biking in northern laos in mid-jan and plan to get a real taste for it. If you guys are starting in early feb that fits me just fine. lets get in touch. at the very least i will have info on kiking in asia to share before you arrive.
I'm a 27 year old American guy on his first real backpacking tour. I'm traveling with a friend until the last week of january. After that i have decisions to make. We head to Chang Mai on the 6th of Jan (for five days or so?) and plan to head to Laos from there. His trip ends in KL in early feb so we intend to head south from laos (by way of cambodia) and back into southern Thailand in time for him to get back. So thats me. I'm always keen to meet people or exchange info and experience.
