Who has flown China Southern?

    Have a great price for Melbourne - Hanoi - Melbourne, via Guangzhou, on China Southern Airlines
    Anybody used this airline? Service, reliability, comfort, etc?
    Also, what is the efficiency of Guangzhou airport for transfers?

    It is a Chinese airline . . . Guangzhou transfer isn't too bad, as long as you aren't traveling during a busy holiday season. Sometimes flights get delayed a few hours in Guangzhou, but the flights to Hanoi run pretty regularly and are probably a top priority. Food and comfort aren't top notch for long haul flights, I usually choose Cathay or Korean Air if I can for anything long-haul - but if the price is right.
