Direct flights Da Nang to Bangkok

    Somtam I picked up an earlier thread asking about direct flights between Da Nang and Bangkok and need some current information. I want to go to Bangkok around Tet 2009 (basically because my Apple computer needs a service and I cannot get one done in VN). BP Air seems to be only direct flight - on Tues, Thurs and Sat. BP Air seems to think that only passengers coming from Thailand will use this flight but I live in Hue and it could suit me. But I cannot find out what the fare is or how to book.

    I know that AirAsia has flights between Hanoi and Bangkok at that time for $38 US each way but my problem is how to get to Hanoi from Hue around Tet. Vietnam Air is the only company currently flying out of Hue and it is fully booked for weeks each side of Tet. I have also tried flights from Da Nang to Hanoi but no joy there either. Viet Air does have a one-stop flight Da Nang - Saigon - Bangkok but it is quite expensive.

    I'd be grateful for any suggestions including other means of travel. Thanks for any help.
