I know there are a few foreigners in Korea who use this website so I thought I would share this...
Jinair, a new budget airline in Korea offers cheap flights from Seoul to Bangkok (starting Dec. 21)
About $270 one way and less than $500 round trip.
Prices exclude tax but seriously, this is about half the price that I normally spend on this trip.

The JinAir website is here. The carrier used to be the low cost carrier Air Korea and, as far as I can see is a full subsidiary of Korean Air.
