Gear from NZ or Australia?

    Hi,

    My boyfriend and I are both from, and currently living in New Zealand. The plan is to go on a 6 month tour of SEA in September 2012. Before we go we will be living in Australia for 5 months though, wondering whether it would be better to pick up gear and equipment here in NZ or wait till we get to Australia? Or mix and match and with which products?
